With Multirush Forwarding Services MMS supplies import and export services for the shipment of containerized cargoes with major existing shipping lines. The full range of integrated services offered allow the customer not to worry about the shipment – the company’s staff will take care and monitor every part of the voyage. Containers are inspected and followed at all stages (from cleaning to stuffing and unstuffing supervision). Multi Rush Forwarding follows container handling internationally including the operations related to the cross of borders.

MMS uses steel as base cargo to charter the ships it operates, completing the same with other cargoes, such as forest products, machineries, vehicles and project cargoes. 95% of steel shipping is represented by Italian exports. Furthermore, MMS takes care of the discharging and distribution activities of cargoes in the US and the UK for the main Italian producers – discharging, storage and delivery by truck, rail or barge. MMS fulfils the export of cargoes for five major customers (steel producers) as well as for smaller producers who tend to outsource the shipping activities out of the production line.Since a few years MMS has widened the range of the services offered with a Joint Venture called Marine Global Services, together with the company from Brescia, ‘Magli', taking care of the multimodal transport of steels.
Forest products

Italy is a big importer and transformer of forest products and the imported quantities were hardly altered during the recent world crisis. Woodpulp comes to Italy in bigger and bigger quantities from both North and South America and from Northern European countries – Italian ports can offer cargo handling both for import and for transhipment towards other countries which have started dealing with these products. MMS is agent in Italy for Gearbulk, one of the biggest world carriers of forest products and offers a range of services and logistics solutions both for raw materials and for finished products of the forest industry.

MMS has a qualified organisation for out of gauge / project cargo handling and has grown a specific experience in Heavy Lifts logistics. Following these kind of operations implies taking care of health and safety procedures as well as of environmental regulations in different countries (both origin, transit and destination). MMS can grant a door-to-door service including customs operations, transhipments and clearance of related documents.

Having an in-house customs broker MMS offers a qualified consultation on all the aspects related to customs operations: from customs and government authorisations to goods classification and certification, from specific assistance on various goods (steels, forest products, wastes…) to foreign goods transit in the EU, from intrastat procedures to specific assistance on yacht transfer, sales and purchase.

MMS operates in Italy as agent of the Dutch Seven Star Yacht Transport (including (now also) the brand DYT), specialized in sea transport of yachts. Every year 30-40 calls are followed in Genoa port and hundreds of yachts are handles. The services are suitable to all types of yachts (new building, private and commercial boats, super yachts and regatta sailing boats) and cover all phases of the transport, from loading to lashing, from discharging to transferring, including insurance and customs assistance.

In the years, MMS has earned experience and expertise on integrated logistic services which can cover all the phases of the shipment from the seller’s warehouse to the receiver’s whereabouts.
